| On December
13th, 1895, a select band of Ladies and Gentlemen met in Dullatur Railway
Station Waiting Room to consider the possibility of forming a golf club
in the district.
This keen band could not
possibly have envisaged the future of the Club they were founding and
the many phases through which it would pass. Now, over 100 years later,
the Club has transformed the original idea into a complex with a newly-built,
multi-functional Clubhouse and two 18-hole courses named the Carrickstone
and the Antonine.
The two par 70 courses
were designed by Dave Thomas Ltd and as well as being an excellent
test of golf they are situated in an area of splendid natural beauty.
